As the weather cools, consider switching to a stronger fragrance.

Here’s why. Lighter scents and citrus perfumes are ideal for the summer because heat increases the intensity of the perfume. Without the heat, the lighter perfumes tend to be a lot less aromatic. The stronger fragrances however – some of which may seem too overpowering in the summer -- have the intensity to stand up to the cooler weather.

If you want to stay with the same perfume, try switching from an eau de toilette version to an eau de parfum version for the winter.
